Obvious effects of being sorcerised?

I've just finished a long run of RuneQuest/Glorantha in which the PCs travelled all around the Lozenge in a circle from Sog City to Vormain to Pamaltela to Old Trade to Sog City again, in order to recover the 3 Weapons of Talor for Sog City University. One of the PCs was a non-aligned sorcerer on whose abilities they drew with gay abandon. Now most of them are standard Theists and I'm sure that their temples would be horrified at the way they have allowed vile-and-evil - -sorcerers-their-souls-shrivel-and-vanish-when-they-die-you-know-don't-let-one- shake-your-hand-hee-hee-hee to cast spells on them and even remake their faces so they can go home without being arrested by the Lunars.

So, when they get back and try to convince the temples and their friends that 'no it really is me'

  1. What will the reaction be when they are told how the face-changing was done? (One of the party is a Lhankhor Mhy.)
  2. Will anyone be able to tell they have been using sorcery if they lie? (One of the party is a Trickster.)

Off to prepare a PENDRAGON game for them for the New Year so this isn't urgent.

Happy Sacred Time Everybody!
