In G:tCoHW Bill Dunne says that healing magic and the prevelance of violence in Glorantha means that the death rate is about the same for all cohorts/age groups; ie the age distribution pyramid is an isoceles triangle. Medieval life expectancy averaged about 35.

AFAI recall 7-12 per 500-1000.
