I once drew up a map of Genertela as though it were a Diplomacy map, but was not very happy with it. Perhaps a better model would be 'History of the World'. Each turn representing a phase, or even a whole age of Gloranthan history. Certain events, such as the Sunstop, The Closing and The Ban would have to be built-in to the flow of the game though.
