This is not something that is established as "true". I'm sure some people here do accept it, but I remember seeing some significant dispute of the concept a while ago. I have seen it proposed as the GL secret (although not here).

There is power in convincing large groups of people to believe the way you want them to, but it is not the same as consentual reality.
