Roolz and splitting attacks etc.

WRT the splitting of attacks and other strange combat activities.

Personally, I like to keep the roolz simple and not get too bogged down. IMO the more roolz the slower the game goes and the more arguments that arise. The 100% mark before splitting attacks is purely arbitrary so why get worked up about it?

My view is simple:

If your current effective skill (including all magical & situational effects such as standing on slippery mud laced with banana skins) is 100% or more you may split attacks any way you like provided each attack is 50% or more. There are millions of ways to argue this one back and fourth but none have any greater weight than others as we are discussing a roolz simulation of a RW impossible event!

WRT to bladesharp I view it as adding its skill bonus once. Otherwise it can become really horrible with higher power characters. Imagine a Humakti sword with over 165% skill and bladesharp 8! Yes thats right under your system this gives 3 attacks at 95%! No thank you, the way I play it would *only* give him 3 attacks at less than 70%, still tough but much more bearable...

WRT Bladesharp damage I am less certain, I allow it to add to all hits, but maybe this is not wise. Especially when the Humakti above uses it with Truesword on his Greatsword (24 points plus damage bonus every time).

So IMO keep it simple and it'll generally keep itself sweet(er).

Cheers
