Ralian History or Story

Peter Metcalfe gave us a fable:

>SYNOPSIS OF SAFESLTRAN MYTH UP TO THE DARKNESS.
I accept this is known in eastern Safelster, and even some backward peasants further west (specially close to Hrelar Amali). However the urban safelstrans, with an enormous seshnelan and tanisorian influence will have a more "malkioni orthodox" view, with a smaller role for the gods. I agree with most of the rest.

A small detail, however. most Safelstran will remember Ulianus the Great (who conquered everything and built the Great Arena) and his son (some sources grandson) Vikkard. That is history (two centuries ago).

People forget one of the main RW reasons to use two weapons. Shields are military equipment, and will get you in trouble in most civilized places. As parrying with one thing and attacking with the other is much easier (at least rapier and main gauche) than learning to parry while attacking, two weapon use was omnipresent in european duels for a century. Use a swordbreaker, snag the other's sword, and unless he is lucky he is history. Even one sword duelists used their cloak as some kind of shield when faced with somebody with two weapons or several enemies at the same time.
