Being left handed myself and having sparred a lot and fenced a lot it is a serious advantage to be left handed in those kind of contests. Even tennis gives some advantage to the left hander, badminton too as the righty is used to hitting to the back hand but keep hitting the lefties forehand.
I was never keen on the idea that all people are right handed in Glorantha except dragonnewts - it seemed a but unreasonable.
Here is a thought - perhpas the left handed people in Orlanthi culture were those most likely to be able to speak auld wyrmish and learn the dragon way? Or perhaps everyone was right handed _until_ the EWF taught people new ways and started people thinking with the other side of their brain.
