Does anybody out there know anything about Kalikos IceBreaker? I have made a few assumptions, but they are pretty general. 1) Kalikos was a follower of the Cult of Young Elementals, with emphasis on
Sky/Light/Fire. He chose this emphasis in order to better fight Cold/
Darkness.
2) Kalikos went out an learned a bunch of the Yanafal Tarnils rituals con-
cerned with challenges and duels. He also studied the ever-popular
"Yanafal tramples a demon" ritual.
3) Kalikos combined points one and two above to form his IceBreaker rituals
and to combat Valind & Himile. (He doesn't actually want to fight them, let alone kill them. Winter is necessary. He just wants to fight their proxies/avatars/whatever and _lessen_ the strength of Winter.) 4) To join the cult, or participate in one of the yearly relief columns
(ie, join up for a season), experience with one of the two cults above
is strongly recommended.
5) Many Icebreaker practises would appear familiar to a Yanafali or Humakti.
Note that the YT aspect of Warrior & Champion are what is needed here, not the YT aspect of Officer/Leader.
Please note that I have no particular reason for starting Kalikos off as a Young Elementalist and adding YT stuff. He could as easily have started off YT, and picked up the Elemental stuff he needed. Opinions, anyone?
