I'd like to point out that the Great Earth Queen, not Orlanth, would have the final say as to who her husband is at any given time or place.
Why do you think Elamal was so eager to stay behind and guard Ernalda? Hmmm???
Orlanth certainly got around in his myths, why not Ernalda? Or does Orlanth, champion of freedom, take a lesson from the Evil Emperor on this issue?
