I'm not sure that she would need to have a deeper knowlege of Chalana Arroy anymore than a Huscarl needs to worship Humakt. If she needs to call on anybody, it would be the Earth Witch aspect of Ernalda rather than Chalana Arroy.

IMO 'Wise womanry' and similar specialisations (ie rain-making) are low or spirit magic affairs rather than fully fledged rune magic. To wit, a White Healer would treat a seriously wonded person by invoking magic from Chalana Arroy; Heal Wound 10mp and the person is out of danger. A wise woman would have to treat the wound with poutlices and a night (or even several days) would have to pass before anybody knew the victim was out of danger.
