My feeling on the matter is that while you have to get certain spells from temples of a given size you can regain them at anyplace sacred to the deity you got it from. IMO this makes for better game mechanics. While it's one thing to have players make epic quests to obtain certain spells in the first place their attractiveness/usefulness would be greatly diminished if they had to keep going back to regain it. How's that for expediency?

On a separate note an interesting web site related to mythology and mysticism came to my attention. It's at: www.pantheon.org

The few articles I looked at were kind of basic but there's a lot of information on different topics and if you're away from your Bullfinch's the site may come in handy.

If people are interested in the URLs of similar reference sites I could post some more.
