Elves and axes

I believe that in Cults of Prax, an Aldrya Wood lord appears who is carrying (slung on his back) a copper axe.  

IMG the axe is the elven symbol of death, being the form in which it slew Flamal, and is used by high-ranking elven warriors as a sign of their ability and duty to kill in defence of the forest. There is probably a myth about how High King Elf gained the use of the power, which Wood Lords can re-enact.
