If this Blake "I'm not a Black Fang Assassin" Duck is that same dastardly Durulz, Le Canard Noir, then he is in for a kicking from me.

>And which Gloranthan ones [riding animals] are the silliest? Rhinos?

No, Ostriches (or Kangaroos!) get my vote.

>I think where we start stretching
>credibility too far is when we get plants with features that could not be
>naturally occurring, like copper arrow trees. Unfortunately, there's the

One of my players objected heavily to this 'ridiculous' idea, so I made up an explanation, and made it sound like I'd read it somewhere. The plant actually has copper leaves that are shaped almost exactly like an arrowhead, which many leaves are. Two of each of five different sizes of leaf are selected, and are hammered together to make an arrowhead. The copper leaves conduct the energy of the sun directly down the stem of the plant into its tubers which act as batteries, and they release this energy in the winter to grow when most other plants are dormant.

>The elf thread continues, yay!

I can see this one going on and on! Not that I'm not enjoying it, that is. And I heartily agree with whoever suggested that this whole thread should be condensed and compiled into an article for Tales, or something.
