        Now, this actually has little to do with Glorantha, and I don't wish to sound argumentative, but I have to take issue with the above statement.

        I assume that by "the RW culture" you're talking about the Pacific Northwest natives in general and the Coastal Salish in particular. If this is so, then you are again mistaken to suggest that they have been wiped out. Numerous Coastal Salish tribes have maintained a continuous existence and unbroken tribal tradition. They possess living languages. Many have managed to maintain at least part of their traditional tribal territories. While many individuals (if not most) have acculturated to the way of the white folk, their cultures have NOT been wiped out, but are in fact still alive and kicking.

        Any number of kids I went to school with would be quite disturbed to find out that they didn't actually exist.
