One of the more freeing aspects of Glorantha is the fact that it does not slavishly adhere to real world parallels. While it is essentially a "Bronze Age" world, there are plenty of examples of cultural anachronisms. Thus, windmills in Glorantha wouldn't be too far of a stretch for the imagination...unless, of course, there is an "official" stance on the issue.
