Pendragon pass question:

I've been thinking about converting my campaign to pendragon. The campaign being set in Loskalm works a lot better with the knightly rules in pendragon. I've been looking at the excellent stuff on David Dunham's web page. The only real problem is the sorcery rules. Has anybody tried to convert Sandy's sorcery rules to pendragon?

Brithini Resurrection:

On to somthing differnt, Brithini resurrection. I think the reason other malkioni sects don't use this ritual because it involves props and acts no sane and godfearing malkioni ever would consider doing. I picture this more like a Frankensteinian reanimation than the divine miracle of the White Lady. Not so godfaering malkioni would have no objections to this kind of magic, but they are what one commonly calls necromancers. And we all know they are chaotic.

The Loskalmi perfecti

I've been thinking about the Loskalmi perfecti. The approach presented in the splintered sects is good enough, but not appropriate to my campaign. My Loskalm campaign is based around the concept of Lord Death on a Horse as a fanatic Loskalm lord trying to shape his kingdom. Make it more ready to take it's rightfull place as the clenser of the world. This is why I think a perfecti modelled on Gandhis Satyagrahi would be a lot more interesting. A none-violent sect would be very interesting in a conflict with the KoW. The sect could even be what saves Loskalm. Hundreds of thousands of farmers would die, but if they manage to stick to their none-violence they would beat the KoW. An interesting twist for my combat loving players :) The sect should have some magic that enables them to preserve their souls from tapping. Either they can invoke the sect (as a saint) to get immunity to tap INT and POW, or their could invoke it to get a reasurance of salvation no matter what.

Since people have spoken out for more than one earth analogy per glorantha culture, I present an Hindu twist to Hrestolism. Hope you find it interesting

So what do ya all think?
