There's a term used by some physicists to describe the
self-contradictory, nonlocal but entirely real nature of the quantum
waveform: "contra-factual definiteness" (CFD). Supporters of CFD say
that the many-worlds interpretation of orthodox quantum mechanics is an
attempt to sidestep contra-factual definiteness (each individual world
is simple and self-consistent).
I like CFD because it is MGF. There must also be contra-factual
indefiniteness (CFI), factual indefiniteness (FI) and even factual
definiteness (FD), if you prefer.
