Sorry, I forgot that this is a highly international digest, and that some readers whose English is very good might still not catch every English pun. "The well", besides being a hole in the ground full of water, also means "those who are in good health". Naturally, Chalana Arroy do not need to deal much with such people.

GD&R means "grinning, ducking and running"
