Arkati-Uz sorcerors

I had always interpreted that the prohibition on becoming a sorceror for KL priestesses was actually avoided by becoming an Arkati. This seemed to indicate that Arkat wasn't the only sect in Uzland teaching sorcery. I liked the idea of numerous circles of sorcery. Has anyone got any ideas how Uz sorcery works under Sandy's system, as I can't seen the Vows working the same????

Infinity Rune

Agreed, I *like* the infinity rune. However, while we know -- more or less -- what it does, how do you get it? Does anyone know what Jar-eel or Harrek did to earn it?? I can't see a HQ whereby the potential Superhero walks along and plugs the Infinity Rune into their POW-er supply. Did they steal it from other gods (come here Flamal...), or be gifted it??

Pendragon

>Before I started I feared the problems I would have would be with the

>where their personal choices were overridden by dice rolls were disliked
>but I think they accepted the rationale behind them.

Once again I voice my opinion that Pendragon's traits limits roleplaying by forcing dice to make decisions. I especially liked the suggestion that if a player is unsure what his character would do, he should roll a dice to decide. Whatever happened to roleplaying...? I thin *passions* not traits, are okay, to some extent. But in the main, these should be left to roleplaying anyhow, frex -- I've never met an Uroxi who wouldn't rabidly charge to his untimely doom for virtually no reason whatsoever.

>The coarseness of scale under PENDRAGON worries me very much. For High
>Mythic stories it might work. But for the long mundane slog it don't.

I never did like the Pendragon system to the extent other people did. I didn't find it as sleek and simple as other people had told me it would be, and the integration of traits/passions with a role-playing system wasn't what I expected. Maybe it was because I've got 3rd edition and not 4th edition??? For a simple system, look at Storyteller.

All IMHO,
