Jane Williams mentioned a long ago discusion on writing, can somebody please tell me if that is archived somewhere, and how the heck I can get at it? Or, can they summarize the findings of the discusion?

Specifially, I was wondering just how literate 1620ish Glorantha is. Using the crummy character creation rules, Barbaraian initiates get read/write own language for each year in the cult. Does this mean that Orlanthi have Big Bibles?
