I think it is safer to say that Ken Rolston advertised Tales in the AH supplements, rather than Avalon Hill doing it directly. They gave Ken creative control, and he used it very appropriately, allowing Tales and RQ to support each other. As it should be.

I am curious about the second statement, however. I have heard that Avalon Hill did in fact attempt to exert control over Tales, by trying to claim copyright control or somesuch over it at one time. Is this not true? I note that an allusion was made just a few Digests ago to this event, though I can't recall if it was you, Nick, who did it, or someone else.
