I think that you mean "America The Beautiful", which is a completely different song. "America" (also called "God Save The Queen" in England) doesn't scan at all.

Nonsense. This would imply that trolls don't see other trolls as food. Try living as a lone wild troll and see how friendly the other trolls are.

Kitori just treat trolls like Sonny Crocket treated Elvis, his alligator, on Miami Vice. Feed them well enough, and they won't eat you. Usually. As long as you don't make it too easy or tempting. Otherwise, you get what you would expect.

This is also why, in my Glorantha, the Kitori humans and trolls do intermarry (not breed, of course, but the marriages are legal for establishing kinship). Without the "family" bonds, the alliance would tend to fall apart like ex-Yugoslavia.

Including neighboring Uz, if they don't have families to take vengence. Or if J.Random Troll thinks that she/he can get away with it.
