Just a couple of quick comments regarding Troll economies and the need
to import food...
1] We know that Troll Caravans cross from Guhan to Halikev, therefore
an economy certainly exists in some form.
2] I don't think it relates to food sources though...in the original
Trollpak there was an interesting series of drawings showing how troll
communities "moved" - the slum "sprawl" changed - depending upon food
availability/sources. Perhaps Troll "cities" are not as fixed as we
assume. Perhaps the Temple/Shrine/Cave complex is fixed but the
population fluctuates in a wildly, and inhuman, manner. A different
concept of "home" is required.
3] Also in Trollpak: Uz = "The Folk" [Neither masculine nor Feminine]
Perhaps Trolls are more concerned with community [!] than we
realize...and less concerned with Male/Female semantic issues?
