I said....

>secretions.
>>While RW ducks don't (I think?) it isn't terribly absurd for Gloranthan
>ones
>>to do so. And their Man Rune is also the Woman Rune I would think, so
>yeah,
>>female ducks have mammaries.

>Mammaries are, unless I completely failed my linguistics AND physiology
>rolls, a feature of MAMMALS.

      Well, duh. :)

>Ducks are not mammals, they are bird-men.

Oh? If they're birds cursed with a man-form yes, but if they're men cursed with bird-form they're mammals. Or maybe the species in Glorantha don't follow Earth style taxonomy, and they could well be mixed.

More game-fun seriously, the argument for duck females with breasts pretty much would be that in the comic/cartoon inspiration for ducks, females have breasts. As do most part-humans in comics and SF and fantasy, for that matter.

Upon reflection, I think that duck females shouldn't have mammaries, however. Doesn't feel right. I'd rather get away from the "ducks are little caricature humans and a joke" model. And ducks don't have teeth and cigars either, nyah. :)
