<< Me: Um, different groups of humans have different patterns. I have a lot
more hair than, say, David Cheng, but does this have to mean that I have a  stronger sex-drive than he does? >>

No, while hair pattern is affected by sex hormones (that's why women don't have beards, go bald etc.) there isn't a direct hairiness = virility link!

<<It seems to me that the Chinese keep their numbers up fairly
 effectively.>>

As you rightly say, race has a lot to do with it too. As somebody else pointed out, Praxians, although technically Wareran (=Caucasian) according to the Genertela book, probably look somewhat Amerindian, and therefore are less hirsuite than, say, Sartarites. I'd include herd-men in this.

<< I thot Herd-Men have different fertility cycles from humans>>

That's news to me, although I suppose it's possible.

<<None of our dogs and cats turned grey,>>

Really? All our dogs did. And our donkeys. OK, not to the extent that humans do, but the pigmentation was definately lost as they aged.

Forward the glorious Red Army!
