Actually, viewing Ducks as cursed exiles living in a Marsh brought me to the conclusion that, rather than being the "Jews of Glorantha" the Ducks are the _Cajuns_ of Glorthantha, and they play zydeco music. :) I mean, what musical instrument fits the Duck personality better than the accordion? Imagine the MFG of Ducks marching into battle to strains of "Lady of Spain." Crawfish gumbo, anyone?

Meanwhile, Erick Sieurin says "Why zombiefy a Duck?"

Maybe to send a message to a particular clan of Ducks. I think Delecti's EWF magic provides him with loads of POW to use to do what he does best, make undead things, and making the same old zombies gets boring after awhile. If you want to wierd out Theya Twosons (and probably get hurt by Pam Carlson) which would be better, a zombiefied Cave Troll or one of her six-year-olds? Depends on the signal you are trying to get across.

Besides, I wouldn't make zombies out of ducks...I'd make skeletons to take advantage of the 5 x DEX attack skill and the SIZ modifier to make swell one-shot assassins armed with poison darts. Teach those Jon-Eel-Come-Lately Lunars a trick or two. :)
