That's great: night birds can see because of the light of the stars - the
sun connection.
Bats = bird that turned to darkess? It makes sense but in the RW bats are
mammals so that's a major change.

Why light worshipers? Why not darkness worshipers?
If a bird becames a bat when he turns to darkness does that mean that ducks that turn to darkenss became the batducks of Glorantha? Think for an instant: BatDuck the duck Vampire of the Blind King's Palace in Pavis driving his super raft also know has the duck batmobile through the puzzle cannal...
