Yes, I'm risking starting the argument again, but I think this is a better angle.

If the above is literally true, that "any" rapist can become a broo, then I'm much happier with Glorantha.

If it only works if the rapist *has heard of Thed and expects it to happen*, then I'm really irritated.

If, for instance, it works on a Brithini, in Brithos, that's one thing. If it works on a God Forgotian, but only if he travels to an Orlanthi-culture or Praxian-culture land to commit rape, that's something else. If a sincere Vadeli atheist is immune to the effect, that's yet a third.
