Me>> There are lots of dragonewts in Kralorela, but no mention anywhere
>> that I know of of any dinosaurs there. Why not?

Nick>My favourite: because all Kralori dinosaurs (emotionally-disturbed
>dragonewts) are exiled to a small island, somewhere off the coast of
>Vormain. Of course, some of them retain their magical draconic powers
>(as noted in Elder Secrets), and attacks on Vormain's cities by giant
>fire-breathing reptilian mutant dinosaurs are justly feared...

I must admit, this is the most compelling argument I have seen yet. I still don't like the idea of dinosaurs on Teleos, I like the idea of this island near Vormain. Love it.

>DP expressly indicates that certain dinosaurs are of dragonewt origin.
>The three types of dinosaurs in DP are given different origins;
>"brontosaurs" are dragonewts who attempted to mature themselves
>prematurely into a dragon, "triceratops" are dragonewts expressly bred
>to size and ferocity, "trachodons" are damaged eggs, and "pteranodons"
>are dinosaurs who have realized their pitiful condition and gone into
>rebirth as something more perfect.

My error -- I remember 2/4, and didn't look up the other 2/4. On the whole, I agree with all of your ideas -- dinosaurs have different origins, which can depend on the species of dinosaur, the land they are from, and possibly other factors as well.

Hmm, I wonder if anyone in Glorantha theorizes that dragonewts evolved from dinosaurs -- intelligence comes after beasts, right? I know, I know, that old mystical Dragon Age thing throws everything off. Still, an interesting idea.

Also Sandy
>As stated in the Genertela book, the Telean folk are all
>Kralori in race, though they are rather unusual in skin color.

As has been suggested earlier, I think that this is a typo. Teshnos is very conspicuously missing from this sentence, and Teleos and Teshnos get typoed quite often. I'll stick with the very specific Teleos write-up, which says Agimori. Though that is an observational entry, I think -- I don't they are related to any of the standard Gloranthan races.
