>I think in Pamaltela succubi are associated with ogres much more ... I
think in Pamaltela, ogres are usually not organised into groups, but arise as a result of succubi breeding.

This is probably true. Pamaltela also has other types of entities that may contribute to ogre-forming, such as were-jackals, evil folk that often mingle with people in very ogre-like ways, are not ogres, but are easily confused with them. (Actually, maybe some of them _are_ ogres.) The were-jackals are not hsunchen. There are no hsunchen jackals in Pamaltela because a long time ago the Jackals were forced to decide between good and evil. Three groups arose:

One band held to the good. They became normal jackals.
One band could not decide between good and evil. They became
normal jackals, but were untrustworthy and vicious. That's why you can't trust jackals - you never know if you're dealing with a good one or a bad one.

One band held to the evil, and remained in human form, but had the ability to turn into jackals. So all were-jackals are evil, and they are often associated with the "bad" jackals as well. There are some ways to tell a jackal folk from a real person - instead of two breasts they have a double row of teats, for instance.
