Stephen Martin wrote about a gloranthan Amateratsu-No-Kami: (a female Yelm-Yukargzant who founds a dynasty of Tenno in Vormain) :=20

But there is Nick Brooke's famous theory of the Rising Sun : the Sun is m= ore=20
powerful in the East (RQCon 1). Theya is a feminine Solar goddess who=20 could play a role (with another name) in Vormain.=20

In RW Nihon, Susanno-wo(sp?) is a Storm God who caused a Great Darkness w= hen=20
he irritated the Empress Amateratsu. Later, a Eurmal figure had to convin= ce=20
Amateratsu to come back by devising a new rival, a kind of Light-Tree=20 (Fire Elves? Tolkienian First Tree?).=20

I suppose a Son of Umath could be a powerful god in Vormain=20 (the Seven-Branched Sword of Susannoo was one of the relics of the Tenno=20 in Ise). The Nysaloran Nichiren Zen School must be a major sect too, mayb= e=20
founded by some exiled survivors of the Bright Empire and Kralorelan=20 heretic mystics.=20
