Wanted to share some brief thoughts on the Throne (in Dagori Inkarth) which James Frusetta came up with on a series of nights when we obviously stayed up too late.
James: Hmm. Clearly the Faceless Statue had a bad, bad case of
constipation before Pavis came; all those centures, sitting there, not
moving...
[After all, it is a "throne."]
Me: Oh, that is too, too funny. I just wonder who in The Big Rubble
ended up
with the hemorrhoid stones ...
James: Imagine all those Gloranthan commercials for various products,
starring the Faceless Statues. "Sometimes, I get a pain in a place I
don't like to
talk about..."
Me: Also makes me start thinking of a unique Spirit Magic spell Pavis
might
provide to his worshipers ... There might even be implications as an
offensive spell.
There was also something about pitying the poor trollkin slaves of Cragspider: "Go, my slaves! Clean up after my little pet dragon!"
OK, so our aggregate maturity level obviously doesn't quite equal that of a typical [male] high schooler.
