Heirloom weapons

 In RW that is. In Glorantha, you can have your weapon enchanted a lot  stronger than your norm spear, and put loads of magic to make it more  lethal. Repair spell helps, and local carpenter finishes the work,  if it ever breaks. As the Yelmalioans are family-oriented anyways,  this is very likely. Shadows on the Borderlands also had heirloom-spear.
