Hello everyone,
Thanks for the ideas Nick, I never considered those but i will search a
little more into it in order to see if they will help. I do believe however
that a better explanation of what I am currently thinking will shed some
light on the situation that iI m in. I am currently running a group that is
in New Pavis. It is a very interesting group dynamically, there are 3
members, a runic sorceror (btw thanks to Petes Maranci's web page where iI
found it), a hunter who is an initiate into the cult of the Hunter God, and
a third son ofn Impala riders chief, who has decided to seek his fortune in
the world. Well the whole spear , phalanx , hoplite, etc debate that has
been all the rage here, which has not kept me at all spellbound, but at
least made me think of the time period planted the seed of an idea in my
mind. I began to see parallels between the Lunars of Prax and the frontier
outposts of the Roman Legions. Then it hit me, one of the most
revolutionary things that ever happened in the RW that changed the world
the most significantly was the advent of christianity, and the thought
crossed my mind what if the same or similar thing happened in Prax. My
players can fight for wither side of course in this new epoch and knowing
my players they will resist it. Well that could make for a good and
continuous story line that lasts for a long time. The problem is I am
having problems getting it off the ground. Thats when i decided to turn to
the digest for help. So if this sparks anyones interest and ways to pull it
off, i would be thankful for the help.
