Just as an observation in the midst of the current spate of rampant wringing of hands and so on... but most of the roleplaying mailing lists I am on or have been on (or at least the unmoderated ones, to exclude Shannons excellent Chaosium digest) seem to involve rather large quantities of nitpicking, pedantry, argueing over obscure details, and so forth. At least on the Glorantha digest most of our arguments are about Glorantha.

Has it occurred to anyone that the sort of discussion we have here might just be the natural evolution of a roleplaying mailing list?

        Cheers
