Orlanthi Household Spirits

If there is an analogy between the Orlanthi and the Celts, there could be some kinds of tutelary spirits like some fairy-tale leprechauns (or Latin Lares, Penates) who would protect the home, mend some items and haunt the unoccupied houses. They could be associated with Mahome, god of the hearth, Geo or Ernalda.

Of course, the family would have to sacrifice some "libations" to these house-guardians. When the family wants to change subtantially the house (e.g.: add a new fireplace), they must ask the permission. When they move in, there is a ceremony to please the "Older Inhabitants". They can be mischievous too, if you forget to honour them.
