Nils Weinander:

Me>>One has to remember that the Pelorians do not accept the five
>>elemental cosmology of the Malkioni and the Theyalans.

>That may be overdoing it a bit. The five elements may
>not have a _central_ position in Pelorian philosophy,
>but it's rather hard to not recognize something which
>has undeniable physical manifestations aka elementals.

And the Pelorians can summon Lunes and Selenes. Yet the Orlanthi do not recognize those as elements. So why should the Pelorians recognize the appearance of an sylph, say, as proof positive that storm is a basic element of the cosmos

On Dendara:

>Confusion gets worse. Sky or air?

No real difference from the Pelorian PoV. Likewise the Orlanthi Storm Gods are considered to be _bad_ sky gods.
