G'day all,

Sons of Sun County

Nick:

>The plot of "Sons of our County" continues full-tilt, and nobody who
>hasn't been following this exciting family saga of Black Gold,
>Big Hair, transvestite Light Daughters and impotent Counts has a
>hope of knowing what's been going on. Though I *hope* for some
>back-plot in the "Secret History of Sun County", apparently included
>in "Questlines II".

Rest assured, it's *all* in Questlines II, a sweeping family saga by Jane Williams, charmingly illustrated by Mark Baldwin in his endearingly offensive and yet authentically Gloranthan style. It's also got a great scenario hooks section at the end so you can inveigle your PCs into the plot! This and 94 more pages of undiluted Gloranthan gold is available from your local Reaching Moon Megacorp distributor.

Greg's HQ Seminar

And Nils said, of Greg's HeroQuest seminar:

>I haven't got a copy of Questlines II so i don't know what Greg said.

Then don't delay, order QL II now!

One the highlights of the con was Greg Stafford's address, which you'll also find in Questlines II!. Outside, and surrounded by a golden dusk, Greg recounted for the first time the full story of the many incarnations of the Red Goddess. Her dismemberment, descent, illumination ('Life is suffering, but suffering is not life') and gradual reascent is a beautiful and moving story, partially inspired by the Sumerian myth of Inanna. Over sixty attenders sat spellbound and speechless while Stafford spoke, and one of my fellow organisers John Hughes was said to have almost converted to the Lunar Way during the address, but ultimately saw sense!

Cheers,

MOB

So concludes    my dissertation, "The Secrets of the Severed God". I can now    rest, assured that the fruit of a lifetime's research is safely    transcribed and can be used by my bearded bretheren to confound    vile Thanatar's continued presence in the scheme of being!

*A note by Theodopulous Pandarus: Shortly after completing
this, his 300,000 word master-work (which now fills the
whole of Book XXIX, Subsection V), Gorget and his research
student Kiva disappeared on a cataloging expedition in
       our temple's commodious underground archives.
