What "The Rubble" looks like

For some reason, probably after looking at that rather empty looking map, I've thought of The Rubble as a place which is mostly open and empty. I'm not so sure now.

Would you say that it looks more like:

1. Pompeii
2. London after the blitz
3. London after after a nuclear attack
4. ...

Or is it a sort of mixture of all of the above?
