Dolerite is an old term for coarsed grained basaltic rocks, which is very rare in Glorantha. Genertela consists mainly of granitoid rocks, especially Granites. Diorites are not very common, but there may be some diposits in the Genertelan mountain belts. Diorite is more homogenous than granite, so it would be better for building statues. But there must be a reason for the lack of Alkali-Feldspar in the granitoides to get Diorites. Andreas Pittelkow
