Emphasis on skill-mastery.

Sure. This is one of those hardy perennials, like asking why the holy days for underworld cults don't turn up on the calendars. Most people don't know anything about the Lanbril cult.

Sounds great to me!

Darkness invading the rest of the world, anyone? This is just like "Why do sea creatures breathe?" and "Are bees creatures of darkness or light?" and "How come flowers need light to survive?" -- a very basic Gloranthan theme. The elements intersect and interdepend.

In what sense? There'd be Dead Air there nowadays, certainly. Nobody in Glorantha expects to suffocate on entering the Underworld, AFAIK.

Yes. Nobody in Glorantha asks questions like, "If the gods have blood that flows like ours, what did it do before Water (and Flowing, etc.) came into the world?" Or, "If the Cosmic Dragon fought Orxili the Chaos Monster before the world was created, how could either of them have interacted with the other, since nothing existed yet?" Or similar Qs. Because the answers don't mean anything.

Very much so! There were five or so boxed sets of around ten figures each (except the big 'uns), IIRC: Human Adventurers, Non-Human Adventurers,  Trolls, Monsters, and Flying Critters. Most were based on the Luise Perrenne illos from RuneMasters, which partly explains that "Greek Glorantha" perception some folk picked up years ago (y'know, the Classical Athenian Orlanthi model).

There was a really really old "range" including minis of Dragon Pass personalities, by Archive or somebody. I saw some of these at RQCon2. Rick Meints will know more: he's planning to include minis in the next edition of the MiG!
