Agreed! -- ... to be Physically Impossible. (Hence a tad troublesome for a 3-D model.)

This we have, of course, at least for some of the local maxima. This ought to be doable, to an acceptable level of accuracy, by reverseengineering  the any number of maps showing at least some relief we have. Not actually Done, of course.
