Night Darkness...

        Sergio asks...

If the dark at night is elemental darkness, where does it came from? And

where does it go in daylight?

My understanding of Night is that Xentha (Argan Argars mum) chases the burning death (Yelm) out of the sky and brings her minions and entourage (Darkness) with her. In the daytime she retires to hell to rest untill it is time for her to return to the surface.

That Night brings true darkness with it can be seen by how much more clearly you can hear things at night (hearing being the darkness sence) Whispers from the far side of a large lake, or chirping crickets, are much louder in the dark of night than they would be during the day.

There is still darkness around in the daytime ('cause you can still hear stuff, and you can see it lurking behind trees and under rocks ;-) but Xentha takes most of it with her when she visits the underworld.
