We don't need no stinking time zones

	Sandy Said:
.... As the sun loses his power, the
darkness gets stronger, and so the shadows get larger and
deeper, until
they fill the world on his departure, only to shrink again when
he
returns from Hell in the morning.

Which IMO helps shed some light on the 'time zones' discussions.
Yelm leaving causes 'night,' - not the sun going down. Night falls at the same time in the East Isles as it does in the West. The shadows are probably different - stronger/darker the farther away they are from Yelm, but still only shadows.

The way I'd play it: In The kingdom of Ignorance, the morning is the brightest time of the day - and the afternoons/evenings get darker. In the West, morning is a relatively dark time. There are bright afternoons, and probably a very short evening/twilight.
