But Simon, not all of those characters were on the quest for the whole trip. Ginna Jar, for instance, was only there at the very beginning and (maybe) the very end. Does _she_ count as a Lightbringer? And all of the others left the party at least temporarily. In fact, the only Lightbringer who stuck with the quest for the entire trip was Flesh Man.
For that matter, there were other individuals who joined onto the quest after it had begun, some of which then stayed with it till the very end. The primo example is Yelm, but there are others as well. Why don't _they_ get to be Lightbringers, too?
I.e., the number of Lightbringers depends upon one's own cultural emphasis & tradition, even if you share the exact same myth with another culture.
