Do you know why they say that we, supporters of Sporting Clube de Portugal,
have the hands so white? Because our team failed to win the Portuguese soccer championship for the last fifteen years. And every year we say (while scrubing our hands) "it will be this year..."

At least you were alive to see them win. It could be worse - ask a fan of the Chicago Cubs or the Boston Red Sox . Cubs haven't won the World Series since 1906 (or was it 1908?- I don't remember and there are probably few Cub fans alive who actually were alive at the time.) Red Sox - 1918 I believe. :-)

I'd also like to say to everyone arguing about buying/photocopying RQ2 materials that there are people out here like me who are struggling just to put together a collection of RQ3 material let alone RQ2. While I sympathise and know what it feels like not to have Pavis or Big Rubble (especially since I had the opportunity to buy them my first time around with RQ in the early '80s) but I don't even have Genertela or King of Sartar. I try to enjoy what I have and treat every piece that I find and am able to purchase as the jewel that it is. Does this put me at a disadvantage in discussions of Gloranthan lore? Probably, but who cares? I enjoy reading what everyone has to say and if I have a question, I ask. If I feel I have a valid point to make, I make it. If I am wrong or someone has a valid counterpoint they will let me know and hopefully explain the error of my ways. While I'm not going to put in my two cents that often as my Gloranthan knowledge is limited, I'm not going to let that hamstring me or get me down. Enjoy what you have and keep your eyes open for those gems.
