I have played in the Borderlands mini campaign once and run it twice, and am about to run it a third time

altho the summary given is basically true

I found it was dismissed rather swiftly

If you put in only a little extra thought and role-play the opportunities for diplomacy as well as the combat

it is an absolutely amazing set of stories

all the players thought it was excellent and it was my baptism into RQ

Rah Rah Stiff-Tail the newtling

So to say that people who don't have it aren't missing much is at the very least a matter of opinion

I rewrote very little (expanded Five Eyes, made the Tusk Riders some more personality and added in a trip to Pavis)

Likewise the Cradle, whilst it is very much a narrative and highly deadly adventure, it is an epic story and if you don't want to lose favourite characters to it, you can play it as a one off surely, using suitably tough as all f*** PCs, so that they have a chance of being amongst the few survivors and it doesn't matter if they are too tough for a campaign cos its a one-off

I played a supertough version of Snakepipe Hollow like that, running an Orlanthi RuneLord character
