Skyriver Titan

In the section on Skyfall Lake in >Into the Troll Realms< there is an interesting myth in which 3 gods, Hard Earth, Skyriver Titan, and one not remembered did battle with a chaos god named Korang the Slayer. During the struggle, Skyriver Titan was wounded, and fled "skyward to his safe home, but the flow of his life broke through the worlds, and as a result that place is always raining." Korang the Slayer was eventually drowned in Skyriver Titan's blood, at the place which is Skyfall Lake. Skyfall Lake is the source of The River, which flows through the region of Dragon Pass.

What would be the result of heroquestors healing Skyriver Titan's wounds?

IMO the rains over skyfall lake would cease, possibly drying up Skyfall Lake and doing away with The River's source. When this happened it would reveal "the ruins of a dead city where the chaos gods once lived", possibly enabling a resurgence of the forces of chaos in the area, as well as lowering the level of The River, causing problems in Dragon Pass.

There are certainly other sources of rain, in a mythic sense, but what I want to know is how important the myth of Skyriver Titan is to the water resources of Dragon Pass, and what other myths there are about how the region gets its rainfall. From Heler, the rainmaker, I guess, but what myths surround this god? Are there any anti-drought heroquests the Orlanthi, or other peoples of the area use? What are they?

Also, how much of a chaos nest would a dried up Skyfall Lake become, assuming there is a God-time city of chaos there?
