Sergio's statement
>danny bourne:
>> I felt that the correct thing to do in this situation,
>> rather than to take the money and run was to be of
>> help to the Frenchies out

The frenchies reply that they were no confusion in Danny Bourne auction, = and
that the rules for such events where respected. Danny just made a little mistake reading our next message, wich is quite understandable when i consider my style... we agree together to say that it was nothing So, the problem does not exist...

When we read

>The irony of this situation is that I bought Pavis in France, more exact=
ly
>in a shop in Lion,(Lyon) back in 1983. At that time they also had Big
Rubble on
>stock.
>So, I think that if the Frenchies search well, they will find most of RQ=
2's
>extensions in France...
>
>We can just say that 1983 was 15 years ago... and that almost any french
serious gamer will laught reading such foreign advice in this digest, or hate you forever ... just two facts dear Sergio...

TRM n=B06, p.18
"Compared to the rest of the world, Runequest in france is immensely popular, Some 10.000 copies of the rules have been sold, and the french equivalent of the AH boxed sets have a print run of between 5-6000. In comparison Avalon Hill's English language boxed sets have a print run of 5.000 world-wide"

With such a market, you understand quite well that the fews English-never-translated-in-french-copies of the Runequest line where sol= d
to the fans willing to have the entire line of products, and after 1986-8= 7,
it was impossible to obtain one, even for a collector able to pay the rig= ht
price. (somes say that 500 Pavis box were sold on the french market only)

Today, like any gamers of my club, linked with many shops and fans all around France, i can just tell you that i have only two examples of RQ ol= d
products presence in 1997-1998
One in Paris was at Ph=E9nom=E8ne J shop: sold in half an our, with the b= uyer
refusing to believe that it was the original product... One in Bordeaux (no details...)
That's all
And i know dozens of players able to buy such things in the second, even = if
they doesn't play at all, just for making a good financial operation

So, if you think you can help great number of players, connected to more than 20 specialised shops able to give a phone call if any product is located, many of them searching for more than ten years (Jean Durupt gift=  is
just an example) to find somes boxes in the french market Please, state it!!!!
We will greatly welcome you...
no doubt...great power
You will even have a ticket for the final of the world cup... amicalement
Laurent and laughing frends...
