Maybe I've been unduly influenced by MOB's manic Sun Country capers (or alternatively, the evening's Beamish Red consumption), but I swear that for a split-second I read that as "tranvestites"...

A "more accurate caricature" of Tales #16's Red Emperor might have been "Yelm with a lick of Red paint", which I doubt will come as a sudden shock to anyone.
